NEWS: Allison out for Week 9; Valdes-Scantling a great start?

November 3, 2018 |

Smitty’s Take: The Packers will be without wide receiver Geronimo Allison (hamstring/groin) for Week 9, which leaves Marquez Valdes-Scantling as a likely target hog in this one. Davante Adams will also have a big Week 9, but that’s par for the course at this point. Need a solid last-minute buy-low? Aaron Rodgers won’t be just given away by his current owners, however, he has just two games with over 300+ yards passing, and with only 1TD last week (and 2TDs the week before), he should be cheaper than he should be right now via trade. I think Rodgers will be a top 1-3QB option moving forward, so if you can, acquire the guy for the final stretch of the season!
