News: Ty Montgomery to see increased role?

Smitty’s Take: An ESPN report is suggesting that Ty Montgomery appears ahead of both Jamaal Williams and Aaron Jones heading into mid June, but I can see this changing rather fast. If I had to guess, one of Williams or Jones will work their way into an early-down rotation with Ty, with Ty getting most of the PPR work. Montgomery has a double-digit ADP as of now, while both Jones and Williams sit in the 8th- to 10th-round range. That shockingly makes Montgomery the surprising value grab of the three (according to current June ADP data).

It will be the Aaron Jones show in 2018. His elusive rating is through the roof.
More runs over 20 yards on way fewer carries than all but maybe 1 or 2 in the league.
Williams can not create yards and Montgomery will get some love (PPR) but if the
coaches can realize he is dynamic in this offense he will have 1,000
yards rushing and 450 receiving yards this season.

Stick to your guns, man. I see this as a RBBC with Ty Montgomery having the no-risk ADP, but anything can happen, and if Jones delivers, he will keep getting touches.

Recent news suggests a committee however Williams is the better pass blocker and that’s important

RBBC has Ty Montgomery and his ‘no-risk’ ADP looking best. But, anything can happen, and guys certainly can rise and thrive.
