Smitty’s Take: There are reports out today suggesting that there is a real chance that holdout rusher LeVeon Bell could decide to sit out the entire 2018 NFL season. While anything is possible, this is guess work at this point, and Bell’s own tweet this week suggested he was saying goodbye to Florida, suggesting he was headed in to sign his franchise tag this week. Until we have anything concrete come rolling in, I think it’s safer to assume Bell returns this week vs sits out the season. We will keep you posted. James Conner, our No. 2 Bold Prediction for all of 2018, has been amazing, and he will surely stay heavily involved if Bell does return. And, if Bell does not return, again something we doubt at this point (given his recent tweet), Conner would remain a top 5RB on the year. Even with Bell back, there is a good chance PIT plays both to the point where both are top 8-12 capable.
