Smitty’s Take: A few reports floating around today have suggested that Denver could give Devontae Booker more touches in 2018, however, the guy would need to stay healthy to hold onto anything resembling starter touches. He’s talented, but I don’t see him as any kind of a long-term answer in Denver. It’s no secret here at SleeperU that I have Royce Freeman as a potential stud of the future. He may not get starter touches out of the gate in 2018 (and this is assuming he doesn’t make noise in the preseason, which is entirely possible), but he’s a smooth and effective rusher that I believe will turn heads if/when given the shot. In rookie-only drafts, select him no higher than you have to (use ADPs to your advantage), and in redraft, scoop him up as a late-round stash. Then, we wait.
