Smitty’s Take: The Browns have traded WR Corey Coleman to the Buffalo Bills in exchanged for an undisclosed 2019 NFL Draft pick. Coleman was the #15 overall pick just two years ago, so he still has big upside, and keep in mind that I have Josh Allen pegged as a potential elite fantasy passer of the future, so this is a good landing spot for the long-term if you ask me. This move only helps Kelvin Benjamin, Allen and that Bills’ passing attack, although it most likely will hurt Zay Jones a bit, at least target-wise. There are rumors that the Browns could now go after free agent Dez Bryant, a player we have continuously said to grab off waivers (and buy-low). Dez may not land in Cleveland, but we still like him as a cheap acquisition right now. The other player this helps a ton is Antonio Callaway, who now gets fed at least WR3-type targets right away. He could climb into the spotlight even faster should Josh Gordon struggle, sit out, or get suspended.
