Note: (6/21/18) Hey, all. Get ready for the biggest feature addition ever.. it comes July 1st! - Smitty
Smitty’s Take: Last year, Jamison Crowder reportedly played through hamstring issues. However, the receiver, entering a contract year, says that he feels great. He has also reportedly worked on strength and conditioning this off-season, so we’re going to call “bounce-back” alert on this one, folks. Entering just his 4th season, and with no season yet over 900 yards and 7TDs, he actually can be more considered a breakout. It would not shock me to see him pull in 70 receptions for 900-1000 yards and 7-8TDs in 2018. He will be Alex Smith’s favorite 2018 target.
Smitty’s Take: A few sources today came out suggesting that an Odell Beckham holdout is still very possible. Beckham has recently been on record saying that he plans to attend training camp, but the Giants will need to get on track on this one. The word is that the Giants haven’t taken the contract talks anywhere, so stay tuned for more. Our guess is there could be a bit of drama heading into camp, but we still have Beckham as the top-ranked fantasy football receiver across the board heading into 2018. He has top five overall value in any league.
Smitty’s Take: This comes from a few sources, one being ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who is reporting that Jameis Winston will be suspended for the three games for violating the league’s personal-conduct policy. Winston allegedly groped an Uber driver back in 2016, but was not charged in the incident. Ryan Fitzpatrick will be the team’s passer in Weeks 1-3, and while he is actually a solid NFL back-up, Weeks 1-3 are some important games in @NO, PHI and PIT. I predict Fitz plays solid football in Wintston’s absence, so don’t let this news affect your rankings of Mike Evans, Ronald Jones or even Cameron Brate/OJ Howard.
