Dalvin Cook offer

I'm taking over a Zealots PPR Dynasty team (0.5 PPR RB, rest are 1.0; roster below) and was offered this from a Dalvin Cook owner:

Cook, Dalvin MIN RB
Davis, Mike CAR RB
Mattison, Alexander MIN RB

Mixon, Joe CIN RB
Aiyuk, Brandon SFO WR
Year 2022 Round 1 Draft Pick from Minnesota Vikings

Team made the playoffs last year at 8-6, assuming a Lamar bounceback, should continue to be competitive in 2021, so I expect that to be a 1.08-1.12 pick.

I believe I could swap in Preston Williams for Davis, as both are on his restricted free agent list (we cut down to 48, with 8 restricted)

Love getting a to 10 asset, questioning if I'm being short sited and selling Mixon at a low point + buying a RB that probably should only expect 3 yrs elite production max.

Total Starters: 18
Number of Starting QBs: 1
Number of Starting RBs: 1-5
Number of Starting WRs: 2-5
Number of Starting TEs: 1-5
Number of Starting DT+DEs: 3
Number of Starting LBs: 3
Number of Starting CB+Ss: 3

You have the depth to let Aiyuk go so I’d make this trade as well. Cook is much better than Mixon.

I'd like to say ditto, but, that would be to much of an understatement... so how's this... DITTO!!!
    10 Team Dynasty - All TDs = 6 / PassingYd = .04 / Rushing-ReceivingYd = .10 / No-PPR / No Bonus
    - - - - - - - - - - - Starting requirements = QB - RB - RB/WR - WR - WR/TE - TE - DST - K
QB - J.Allen, J.Herbert, R.Wilson, Stafford / RB - Kamara, D.Cook, Zeke, Saquon, Mattison, Pollard, Latavius Murray, Gallman
WR - M.Thomas, Hopkins, Godwin, A.J.Brown, Chark, Lamb, Claypool, Mooney / TE - M.Andrews. Hockenson, Gesicki, Hurst, Knox
    DST - Ravens, Buccaneers / K - Sanders
    12 Team Dynasty - TDs = 4-6 / PassingYd =.04 / Rushing-ReceivingYd =.10 / PPR / Bonus 3 at 300-100
    - - - - - - - - - - - Starting requirements = QB - 2RB - 3WR - 1TE - 1FlexRWT - DST - K
    QB - Cousins, Darnold, Marriota / RB - R.Jones, Dillon, D.Harris, Ingram, DJ, K.Johnson, R.Armstead, Benjamin, McKissic
WR DK.Metcalf, Claypool, Perriman, Hamler, Boykin, Byrd, DavidMoore, Guyton / TE - Gesicki, Hurst, Trautman, Knox
    DST - Steelers, Buccaneers / K - Lutz
  • He accepted the swap in of Preston Williams over Mike Davis (may regret that if Car trade CMac).

Switching gears to a non-PPR offer of a boatload of late picks for Corey Davis.

    I give
    Davis, Corey TEN WR
    Reid, Justin HOU S
Fitzpatrick, Ryan MIA QB (cutting, don't care)
Williamson, Avery PIT LB (cutting, don't care)

    I get
    Kiser, Micah LAR LB
Smith, Alex WAS QB (likely cut)
Sims, Steven WAS WR (cutting, don't care)
Desir, Pierre BAL CB (cutting, don't care)
    Year 2021 Draft Pick 4.02
    Year 2021 Draft Pick 4.10
    Year 2021 Draft Pick 5.10
    Year 2021 Draft Pick 6.02
Year 2022 Round 3 Draft Pick from Cleveland Browns
Year 2022 Round 4 Draft Pick from Cleveland Browns

He was the 2nd worst team last year, (and not much better this year as I have his 1.02 and 3.02 picks, and he also traded the 2.02), so I expect those 2022 picks to be top 3 in each round + Kiser was averaging top 30 LB ppg in our league before injury.

My WR rough depth chart (start 2-4 WRs):
    Thomas, Michael NOS WR
    McLaurin, Terry WAS WR

    Godwin, Chris TBB WR
    Samuel, Deebo SFO WR

    Jeudy, Jerry DEN WR
    Sutton, Courtland DEN WR
    Davis, Corey TEN WR
    Davis, Gabriel BUF WR
    Duvernay, Devin BAL WR
    Johnson, Collin JAC WR

Hold the 1.02 and 1.06 pick, so leaning WR at 1.02 assuming Harris goes 1.01.

You expect to get useable/upside players that late in the draft? Think I would hold onto Davis, he has more upside that what you would be getting 4.10 and beyond. IMO Kizer is certainly replaceable

Wait what did u get cook for mixon ? That was an excellent offer. Mixon sucks

    D.Watson. Tua T
    J Jacobs. C Carson. R Mostert. D Henderson.T Pollard. L Fournette
T Hill. J Jefferson. Ceedee Lamb. Chase Claypool. J Edelman. M Hardman.

  • I prefer Davis. I would want a 2nd if I was to move him.

Yep. Pretty happy about that deal.

And i think I’d need another 3rd at a minimum to make this Davis offer interesting.
