FINALS!!! Help, please. Thanks!

Thank you to everyone that got me here, not just @Smitty but so many others. My only finals this year. Won 162-158.

I'm the #1 seed vs the #2 seed, already a 14 points underdog. Tough match this week. 12-man, 1 ppr, start qb-rb-rb-wr-wr-wr-te-flex-k-d. I've got starters in bold.

QB

Allen @NEP: seems like the easy choice, will NEP roll over now that they are out?
Lamar vs NYG: Is THIS this week to start him over Allen? UGH.
Ben vs IND: Looked bad this week, no.

RB

Henry @GBP: Probably the easiest YES of this week. YES.
MDavis @ WAS: Why do I have to get so many good DEF this week? If CMcC is out, YES
.
Zeke vs PHI: Was OUT last week, hurt, been playing poorly. I say NO?
Pollard vs PHI: If Zeke is out, can I trust him vs a tough WAS DEF? IDK.
Mostert @ ARI: Too risky, RBBC.
McFarland vs IND: No.
Darrynton @ GBP: No.
Tevin @ARI: No.

WR

MThomas: OUT/IR. Which sucks.
Diggs @NEP: My top WR option. Must start. But not ideal.
Beasley @ NEP: Probably have to start him as well. NEP is #26 vs PASS.
Coutee vs CIN: Did well this past week. Roll the dice again?

Lamb vs PHI: Was it a fluke last week? With Dak still out, risky.
Claypool vs IND: Got me my 4.7 points this week, but barely. PIT looked bad. No?
Hardman vs ATL: Upside flier. ATL is #30 vs PASS. ???
Lazard vs TEN: Too risky. No.

TE

Tonyan vs TEN: My best option? Has to get a TD.
Jonnu @ GBP: Very inconsistent this year. Frustrating. No?
Graham @ JAC: Would be very risky, but upside.

K

Lutz vs MIN: Only got me 3 points this past week, NOS struggled. Against weak MIN team? #23 vs PASS, #23 vs RUSH. Will Brees explode?

DEF

Ravens vs NYG: Easiest YES #2.

CURRENT STARTERS IN:

Allen
Henry
Davis
Pollard
Diggs
Beasley
Coutee
Tonyan
Lutz
Ravens

OPPONENT:

Mahomes
Carson
Swift
DAdams
Aiyuk
AJ Brown
Diontae
Hurst
Carlson
Browns

Right now it's projected 142 to 129. Thoughts? HELP! Sorry about the super long post.

  • I think that your thinking is sound. I would go with those choices. I have very similar dilemmas since I just added Mike Davis a few weeks ago and I also have Snell who I might start if Zeke does not practice this week. Good luck!
QB: Kyler Murray, Tua Tagovailoa; Kyle Allen: RB: Zeke Elliott, Dalvin Cook, Kenyan Drake, Darwin Thompson, Benny Snell, Jr., Chris Thompson; WR: Davante Adams, Cee Dee Lamb, D.J. While I don't think you need us to set your lineup, you're looking at a steep fight against your opponent.

Yeah, this week I would have beat him 162 to 158 even with Allen (41) and Pollard (30) on my bench. So it's possible. But I'm in the money, so...I'm good. Definitely a tough matchup. I could see his Diontae, Hurst, and Browns doing poorly. That means I need elite scores out of Allen, Diggs, Beasley, and Henry.

  • Fantasypros.com says Lamar over Allen and Claypool over Coutee. I don't agree on either.

I would play Lamar over Allen only because the Ravens need to win. Buffalo can coast. Baltimore should run over the Jags.

Who's to say that the Ravens just don't hand off to Dobbins all game

The only tough one for me is the QB. Will Bellichik have a game plan for Allen? As an underdog does Lamar have a better chance to have a monster game to make up for your projected deficit? Tough choice. I’d prob go with Lamar but could go either way. Good luck.
  • Thanks

    That would be a first.
