ROOKIES

My league is only 10 teams and a 2 round rookie draft so forgive my short list! BUT, these guys have the biggest impact & potential in my eyes. (Later pick worthy)
Also, looking to see a couple names you guys say I should be watching!

D. White - LB - Bucs
D. Bush - LB - Steelers
Bosa - DL - 9ers (stay healthy please)
Allen - DL/LB - Jags
Abram - DB - Raiders
Savage - DB - Packers
Sweat - DL - Skins
Ferrell - DL - Raiders

I like linebackers; so who are "the other 2" to be watching??!!
10 Team Dynasty, PPR, 2 Flex, 6 pt TD, IDP

MAHOMES, Darnold
KAMARA, DRAKE, SINGLETARY, Monty, Mostert
NUK, DIGGS, KUPP, Laviska, Miller, Perriman, Lazard, Duvernay
WALLER, Irv Smith Jr
ZANE
DL) HUNTER
LB) LITTLETON, WARNER, Wilson

    what is your scoring @ray9erdad?
  • ray9erdadray9erdad Posts: 417
    Solo tackle=1 Assisted tackle= .5
    Tackle for loss=2 Sack= 2
    Fumble forced= 2 Fumble recovery= 2
Int= 2 (bumping that up this year due to the actual low numbers of multiple Int dbacks)
    Pass deflected= .5 TD's=6 2pt steal=2
    1 point per 25 return yards(int/fumble/special teamer)

Having let's say a DL with those multiple solo sack games can rack up the points because you get each category!(or the rare strip-sack fumble recovery) There's a bonus for 10+ tackle games as well up for review...

For LB's, feel like it is thin this year, maybe Germaine Pratt & Mack Wilson as 3 & 4, both are long shots for this season I think.
Looks like Sweat is going to be scored as a LB which, if true, takes much of the shine off him for me. My leagues score more for sacks, FF an F Rec making the DL sack guys very valuable. Also looks like a good chance Allen will be scored as DL which makes him top 2 DL for me. Would add Brian Burns to the DL list as well.
  • If Pratt or TakiTaki is still hanging around at the end of the draft they're worth a flier, but in 10 man I would be loading up on RBs and WRs instead at that point.

^true. Tis the plan. A bunch will be available "on waivers" after the mighty 2 round! I guess one of the main 4 at my 16 or 17 overall would be a nice addition. I need a DL, as my Hunter got sniped by a new owner taking over a team

Nice posts, I was looking at the Seattle draft, and some mock drafts. Now I don't know if they're simply Seattle homers, or what, but folks have been snatching up Metcalf and Jennings due to the Baldwin departure, I can understand why, but as far as IDP is concerned, I'm interested about how they snatched a couple LB's in the draft. Is the 28 year old Wagner about to depart as well since the departure of S - Earl Thomas? I had a funny feeling to watch both Littleton and Leonard last year, but failed to capitolize on the potential for unknown reasons. I have a funny feeling again, to watch OLB - BEN BURR-KIRVEN (5th) Seattle and Cody Barton (3rd) ILB Seattle.

Both the Seattle guys are worth watching for sure, so far contract talks HAVE NOT opened up with Wagner... he could be gone next year.

And he's holding out, giving the rookies OTA reps.

Not sure how helpful I can be as usual: So I'll just post some rookie IDPs on my watch list.
    LB:
Devin Bush ILB Steelers Devin White ILB Bucs
Montez Sweat ILB Redskins Germaine Pratt ILB Bengals
Cody Barton ILB Seattle Quincy Williams ILB Jags
Mack Wilson ILB Browns Bobby Okereke ILB Colts
Dre Greenlaw ILB 49ers Jahlani Tavai ILB Lions
Ben Burr-Kirven ILB Seattle Sione Takitaki ILB Browns
Christian Miller ILB Panthers Dakota Allen ILB Rams
    Tevon Coney ILB Raiders

    DB:
Abram S Raiders Savage S Packers
Juan Thornhill S Chiefs Taylor Rapp S Rams
Amani Hooker S Titans Chauncey Gardner Johnson S Saints
Marquise Blair S Seattle Sheldrick Redwine S Browns
Mike Edwards S Bucs Nasir Adderly S Chargers

    DL:
Bosa DE SFO Ferrell DE Raiders
Collier DE Seattle Ben Banagu DE Colts
Austin Bryant DE Lions Quinten Williams DT Miami
Josh Allen DE Jags Oliver DT Buffalo
Burns DE Panthers Rashan Gary DE Packers
Jerry Tillery DT Jags Jeffery Simmons DT Titans
Now Cleveland worries me a little bit as far as IDP is concerned, simply because I think Mayfield and his new weapons will keep the offense on the field longer.
