Ndamukong Suh DL, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Bucs signed Ndamukong Suh to a one-year contract.

With the Bucs cutting ties with Gerald McCoy, Suh was a logical replacement and it only took one day to get the deal in place. In DC Todd Bowles' scheme, it won't be surprising to see Suh put up solid numbers across the board. However, after staying on the free agent market for months, Suh will once again be playing for a new contract next year as a 33-year old after only getting a one-year deal from Tampa Bay.

LOL, Raiders sign OG Richie Incognito to 1-yr deal. So they're a lock to be a locker room disaster this year.

    Chris Harris DB, Denver Broncos
NBC Denver's Mike Klis reports the Broncos have bumped CB Chris Harris' 2019 compensation from $8.9 million to $12.05 million.

Unable to agree to a long-term extension, the sides focused on a 2019 raise instead, and have settled on a considerable adjustment for 30-year-old (next month) Harris. A multi-year pact would have been a much bigger win, but Harris secured a real concession. Harris can now focus on leading the secondary for new coach/defensive wiz Vic Fangio. Harris continued to play at a high level last season.

The Harris deal is a mystery. Why give him more $ when we had him under contract already? & no extension/ just a raise. Has this ever happend before?

Vikings hire former Chargers kicker Nate Kaeding as the new kicking coach.

Haters gonna hate. This is a great signing for a team that lost a bunch of games due to poor kicking.

    Gerald McCoy DL, Carolina Panthers
Panthers signed DT Gerald McCoy, formerly of the Bucs, to a one-year, $8 million contract.

It can be worth up to $10.25 million. McCoy picks the Panthers over the Ravens and Browns and gets to stay in the familiar NFC South and play against his former Tampa Bay teammates twice a year. The Panthers are switching to a 3-4 front, which the Bucs are also doing, but Tampa didn't consider him a particularly good fit for DC Todd Bowles' version. Coach Ron Rivera and DC Eric Washington in Carolina have other ideas and will slide McCoy in next to NT Dontari Poe and DT Kawann Short to form a lethal front. McCoy will get a better bite at free agency next offseason at 32 years old.

    Carson Wentz QB, Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles signed Carson Wentz to a four-year contract extension through 2024.

Eagles EVP Howie Roseman said Wentz will be "a great player for the Philadelphia Eagles for a long time" and today guaranteed that. At 27 years old, this new deal extends the Eagles Super Bowl window for years to come. Through three seasons, Wentz has shown an MVP ceiling and he should continue to play like an MVP candidate for as long as he's healthy. All reports from this offseason indicate Wentz looks like he's ready to return to MVP form.

    Kyle Rudolph TE, Minnesota Vikings
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Kyle Rudolph's extension is a four-year, $36 million contract.

Rudolph announced the deal himself on Twitter, but the terms of the contract were not known. The tight end was entering the final year of his deal, but this extension will tie him to the Vikings through the 2023 season. The $9 million new money average surpasses the $7.3 million per year Rudolph earned on his last deal and makes him the fourth-highest paid tight end in the game.

Pointless signing if you're not going to use him properly.

    Kenny Moore DB, Indianapolis Colts
Colts signed CB Kenny Moore to a four-year extension through 2023.

According to Ian Rapoport, the deal makes Moore the highest-paid slot corner in the league. A former undrafted free agent, Moore was scheduled to be a restricted free agent following this season, meaning the Colts could have had him under cheap team control for the next two years. The fact they instead gave him a big extension says a lot of how they view him. Pierre Desir, Quincy Wilson, and second rounder Rock Ya-Sin will compete for the other two starting spots in Indy's secondary.
