daily fantasy football fantasy underdog

I have control of my rookie draft.

12 team PPR 1 QB dynasty with a .5 TE premium with a full IDP defense. (3 DL, 4 LB & 4 DB)

I have pick 1, 2, 5, 7, 12, 13 and 17.

I’m struggling between Chase and Pitts at 2. The guy at 3 needs a WR and has Andrews so he might pass on Pitts.

The guy at 4 is a huge Bears homer so I’m certain he will go with Fields there. In 2019 he traded his 2020 1st & 2nd for Kahlil Mack and John Brown 😂. He gave me Alvin Kamara for Jordan Howard and a 1st in 2018. He also needs RB.

I feel like I might be able to get both if I take Chase at 2. Chase definitely won’t get past 3 his WR are Cooper, Moore, Higgins and garbage after that.

I have no weakness and Kittle and Geodert and TE.

WR are Godwin, McLaurin, Sutton, Beckham, Antonio Brown, Corey Davis, Reagor.

Should I take Chase?

I would try to sell the 1.02 and trade back to 1.03 or 1.04 plus another pick. Take Najee at 1.01 and be ecstatic with whomever falls to at your next first rounder.

I had 1.02 and sold it plus 3.06 to get 1.03 plus 2.10. I took Pitts at 1.03 as Najee and Chase were gone and got Nico Collins at 2.10. I am happy. I also got Lawrence at 1.06, Marshall at 1.12 and Toney at 2.02

We are in year 5 of this dynasty and the guys at picks 3 and 4 both no longer want to trade with me unless I’m getting screwed. I could try the 1.02 and a 2023 2nd for 1.03 and a 2023 1st. He might do that.

I don’t have roster space to take more rookies this season. I have 8 picks in the first two rounds already.

.5 TE premium, I'd look to draft Pitts and trade away Goedert for WR, RB depth or a pick. I don't see your WR being that strong so Chase isn't out of the question. What do your RBs look like aside from Kamara?

Kamara, CEH and Nanjee will be my big 3. Then I have pollard, Dillon and what ever rookies I get. Shooting for one 5 or 7, possibly 12.

I think 1-3 QBs could go in round 1 also.

It will then be a toss of between Chase and Pitts, I strongly suggest (being a 0.5 TE premium league) you draft Pitts, and retain Kittle and trade Goedert for a WR or a pick.

Yeah… TE premium makes Pitts an easier choice

Just take Chase and Pitts. The rest will fall to you. You can still get a stud RB at 5, maybe Smith at 7 or Waddle, and maybe Lawrence or a solid QB as well later.

Harris and Pitts 1 and 2. Best WR at 5. Even if Chase is gone, Smith and Waddle are no slouches.
  • OdellBeckhamSrOdellBeckhamSr Posts: 3,733
I would take Pitts @2 with the Premium. Then get one of Williams or Etienne @5. D Smith or Waddle @7. Varies after that & I don't know your IDP scoring but Parsons might be on HOT list.

I would not part with 1.03 for anything less than 1.05, 1.07 and 1.12 if even that

I’m working on Geodert and a 4th for Jeudy.

I was offered Lamb for my 1.02
  • scooterp10scooterp10 Posts: 29
I countered lamb and a 23 2nd for my 1.02. We’ll see what he says.
  • OdellBeckhamSrOdellBeckhamSr Posts: 3,733
That is a helluva steal to get Jeudy for that cheap.

Especially if Rodgers or Watson go to Denver.
  • wickerkat1212wickerkat1212 Posts: 2,849
I got Lamb and Jeudy in about the 1.06/1.07 range. 1.02 is a bit rich, especially if that means Chase. I'd rather have Chase/Pitts, than Lamb. 1.05 or 1.07? Yes.

That’s an amazing value for lamb. If Jeudy gets decent QB play then that will be amazing value too.

Yup, got Jeudy for Geodert and 4.12.

I give you a standing ovation. You acquired a future stud for peanuts. That's amazing. Well done.

Very tempting, but I got Chase and Lamb at par

I’d be getting lamb and a 2nd for my 1.02.

As much as I like Chase, and I do alot, Lamb has proved he can play in this league and Chase is still a lottery pick and I fully expect Cooper will be gone by next year, Lamb and a 2nd is the low risk way to go.....
  • WTCMWTCM Posts: 13,753
You're good either way. Still shocked/love that you got Jeudy for cheap

Depends on who and what you like. Personally, I'd take Chase/Pitts. But if the extra second makes it less of a wash, go for it. There is some validity to Lamb being proven. When is the 2nd? 1-6 is much more attractive than 7-12 IMO.
