I gave up Bell/Ingram/Thielen for Drake as soon as Bell got hurt...figures after I move Bell he lands with a real team.

Well, FML. I'll be curious to see how they use him, but this doesn't bode well for everywhere I own CEH (after selling Bell everywhere last year).

So this will be a lightning and thunder thing? I'm guessing CEH still gets most of the love, but will lose the short yardage and maybe some goalline to Bell? I have ONE share in a large format redraft, so I wonder if he'll be a decent RB3?

It’s not a great feeling but the overreactions will be unheard of 😂 Hunt and Chubb co-existed and Hunt was top 7

Very possible as CEH has been terrible at the goalline.

My thoughts also, BUT the Browns oline and game scheme is quite different. Browns are run first (and second) with a better oline, and Chiefs is an air show

I have no shares in CEH or Bell. But as a Mahomes owner I'm thrilled. He didnt need anymore weapons and he just got one. It was bad enough on defenses before. Now you add Bell to the mix. How do you game plan against this as a defense coordinator?

You still play pass on defense and force the running game to beat you.

Bell can't according to NFL protocols enter their facility or start to practice until he tests negative for 5 straight days and then tests negative on the 6th day with a point of contact test. So he won't practice for about a week at best.

Even with limited practice for week 7 he can start learning the playbook today and he is already in Football shape which helps unlike Freeman to the Giants. Chiefs probably just want him ready for week 11 forward. Everything up to then is just tuning him up. You dont need Bell to beat Broncos, Jets or Panthers and then you get a bye week. Although you know Bell wants to score a TD against the Jets week 8

If I owned both CEH & Bell and could only start one of them. Most all weeks I'm starting CEH except this game. I'd be all in on Bell.

Smitty, with respect, the Browns are a run first team. Their "number two" RB - Hunt - only had 11 less carries thru 5 weeks than CEH.

If the Chiefs turn into a shared backfield, Clyde's usage quite frankly plummets. And given he's not breaking long runs regularly and probably needed to take advantage of that constancy in the RZ to buoy him to top end RB1 value, I don't see how he can be an Rb1 anymore.

Does this mean the chief's coaching staff don't know what they're doing anymore?

What makes you think that? From a football standpoint this move makes so much sense. Chiefs don't care about fantasy football.
