Andrew Whitworth T, Los Angeles Rams
Rams LT Andrew Whitworth will be placed on injured reserve after he tore his MCL and damaged his PCL in Week 10 against the Seahawks.

The injury is as bad as the team feared. Losing Whitworth is a major blow to LA's offense, and could mean problems for Jared Goff, who continues to have trouble recognizing pressure. The team signed Whitworth, 39, to a three-year, $30 million contract back in March.

I think signing a 39 year old to a three year 30 million dollar contact is bad.

Especially at this position. Kickers, Punters and QBs should be the only ones playing past 40.

    QB: Drew Brees

Results of medical evaluations revealed that he has multiple rib fractures on both sides of his chest and a collapsed lung on the right side. Injuries suffered over two weeks. It is uncertain how much time he might miss.

Sam Darnold QB, New York Jets
Sam Darnold (shoulder) won't play in Week 11 against the Chargers.

Coach Adam Gase said Darnold will be on an "interval throwing program" but won't be an option for injured reserve. It's clearly an ominous sign for his outlook moving forward that Darnold can't even attend practice following an extended rest during the team's bye. Darnold himself said "it's a smart decision not to play" since his shoulder has "gotta heal." Joe Flacco, who flashed for 263 yards and three touchdowns prior to New York's bye, will continue to start in the interim.

Saahdiq Charles T, Washington Football Team
Washington OT Saahdiq Charles (knee) will undergo season-ending surgery.

The fourth-round rookie, who was arguably the leading contender to take over for Trent Williams on the left side, dislocated his knee cap on only his second NFL snap in Week 6 and will officially be sidelined for the rest of the year. He's expected to rehab in time for minicamp next season. Washington will move forward with Cornelius Lucas and David Sharpe manning the left side of its o-line.

Taylor Rapp DB, Los Angeles Rams
Rams S Taylor Rapp (knee) was placed on injured reserve.

Rapp didn't see much action to start the 2020 season but he played on every defensive snap for LA from Week 6 onward. He has two passes defended and an interception on the year. The Rams suffered a number of losses in Week 10 including Rapp, LT Andrew Whitworth, and K Kai Forbath. They are positioned well to make the playoffs at 6-3 with a win over Seattle but these injuries will keep the pressure on their roster depth down the stretch.

Kai Forbath K, Los Angeles Rams
Rams K Kai Forbath (ankle) placed on injured reserve.

Austin MacGinnis is next in line for kicker duties in Los Angeles. The Rams are also bringing in veteran leg Matt Gay but he won't be able to work out for the team until Saturday because of COVID-19 protocols. MacGinnis has never kicked in the NFL.

    Dwayne Harris WR, Chicago Bears
Bears punt returner Dwayne Harris suffered a torn triceps Monday night against the Vikings.

The injury could know out Harris for the remainder of the season. He had 10 punt returns for 81 yards in three games this season.

Allen Lazard WR, Green Bay Packers
Packers activated WR Allen Lazard (core) from injured reserve.

It initially looked like Lazard might return for Week 9 against the 49ers, but he ended up missing two more games, bringing his injured reserve stay to seven weeks. Lazard was running away with No. 2 duties behind Davante Adams before going down, but deep threat Marquez Valdes-Scantling has finally started to display signs of life in the past two weeks. TE Robert Tonyan also mixed in for some big days during Lazard's absence. No. 2 receiver nevertheless remains a position of need for the Packers, something they acknowledged with their deadline pursuit of Will Fuller. There is a path here for Lazard to catch 4-6 weekly passes. Provided he is actually active for Sunday's game against the Colts, he can be treated as a low-end WR4 in the WR40-48 range. There will then be the upside for more.

JaMycal Hasty RB, San Francisco 49ers
49ers placed RB JaMycal Hasty on injured reserve with a broken collarbone.

This was Hasty's guaranteed destination after he went down in Sunday's game against the Saints. A hyped undrafted free agent on the 49ers' practice squad, Hasty failed to turn in good performances across a number of opportunities in the Niners' injury-decimated backfield. This injury should end Hasty's 2020, making him a no-brainer drop outside of Dynasty leagues. In Dynasty, Hasty is an end-of-bench stash who probably needed to show more with backfield maestro Kyle Shanahan to be a truly exciting multi-year prospect.

Brian Poole DB, New York Jets
Jets placed CB Brian Poole on injured reserve with a knee injury.

Poole must miss at least the next three weeks. The move comes the same day the Jets cut Pierre Desir. The Jets' slot corner, Poole has been having a strong year for a bad defense. ESPN's Rich Cimini now projects the Jets' cornerback group as Bless Austin and Lamar Jackson on one side. For the other, Bryce Hall, Javelin Guidry and Corey Ballentine. Then in the slot, Art Maulet. The tank is strong in this one.

    Christian McCaffrey RB, Carolina Panthers
Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 11 against the Lions.

This was expected for McCaffrey, who needs another week to recover from an AC Joint sprain. It's the eighth game he'll miss this season. The Panthers will again turn to Mike Davis as their lead back with McCaffrey sidelined. Davis is a plug-in RB2 against a Lions defense that's allowing the third-most rushing yards in the league.

Geron Christian T, Washington Football Team
Washington placed OT Geron Christian (knee) on injured reserve.

It's the worst possible time for Christian to be sidelined as Washington also lost LT Cornelius Lucas (ankle, week-to-week) in Week 10. It's possible coach Ron Rivera slides Morgan Moses to left tackle in the interim with David Sharpe taking over on the right side.

    Quinton Dunbar DB, Seattle Seahawks
Seahawks placed Quinton Dunbar (knee) on injured reserve.

Losing Dunbar is another setback for a poor Seahawks secondary that's bee shredded by nearly every quarterback they've faced. Without Dunbar last week against the Rams, CB D.J. Reed allowed four catches for 49 yards on five targets.

    C.J. Henderson DB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Jaguars placed CB C.J. Henderson (groin) on injured reserve.

Henderson has been on and off the Jacksonville injury report for most of his rookie season and will now miss at least the next three weeks. When healthy, Henderson has flashed first-round talent and potential shadow coverage skills as an athletic, young playmaker. Already one of the worst defenses in the NFL, the Jaguars will be holding onto dear life down the stretch as they tank for Trevor.

Now Swift has a Concussion just as I was going to lean on him down the stretch.......

    D'Andre Swift RB, Detroit Lions
D'Andre Swift is in the league's concussion protocol and could miss Week 11 against the Panthers.

Swift, who practiced fully on Wednesday, didn't practice Thursday. No one is sure when Swift suffered the concussion, but it puts him in serious doubt to play this week in a superb matchup against Carolina. Swift seized the team's workhorse role and racked up 142 yards and a touchdown last week against Washington. Kerryon Johnson and Adrian Peterson would probably split the backfield workload against the Panthers if Swift in inactive.

    Adam Humphries WR, Tennessee Titans
Adam Humphries (concussion) is out for Week 11 against the Ravens.

Humphries was always a long shot after missing the first couple practices of the week. Head coach Mike Vrabel said Humphries is still working his way through the league's concussion protocol three weeks after suffering a head injury against the Bengals. Humphries out could mean a minor bump for TE Anthony Firkser against Baltimore.

    Rodger Saffold G, Tennessee Titans
Titans LG Rodger Saffold (ankle) won't play in Week 11 against the Ravens.

Titans will also likely be without C Ben Jones (knee), who wasn't able to practice at any point throughout the week. With Taylor Lewan (torn ACL) out for the rest of the year, Tennessee will have no choice but to turn to both Ty Sambrailo and Jamil Douglas at left tackle and guard against Baltimore. It's a concerning downgrade for an offense that ranks fourth-overall in play-action usage.

    Laviska Shenault WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Laviska Shenault (hamstring) won't play in Week 11 against the Steelers.

Shenault hasn't practiced since initially injuring his hamstring in Week 9. Keelan Cole saw seven targets on 81% of Jacksonville's snaps without Shenault against the Packers, but the Steelers' nightmarish secondary presents a different challenge altogether. Jaguars skill players outside James Robinson and, to a lesser extent, D.J. Chark should be avoid entirely in Week 11.

    Danny Amendola WR, Detroit Lions
Danny Amendola (hip) is out for Week 11 against Carolina.

Detroit will be thin at wide receiver with Amendola and Kenny Golladay (hip) out. Marvin Jones would presumably be the team's WR1 and Marvin Hall the WR2 against an average Carolina secondary. Hall, who has seen 13 percent of the team's targets and leads the offense in air yards over Detroit's past three games, is a high-variance WR3/4 option this week.

    Kenny Golladay WR, Detroit Lions
Kenny Golladay (hip) won't play in Week 11 against the Panthers.

Golladay is still eyeing a long-term absence as he has yet to practice since injuring his hip in Week 8. The issue for the Lions' offense is that D'Andre Swift (concussion) and Danny Amendola (hip) have also been ruled out for Sunday. With a short turnaround scheduled for Thanksgiving, it's possible Matthew Stafford (thumb) will be forced to throw to Marvin Jones, Marvin Hall and rookie Quintez Cephus for the next two games.

Drew Brees QB, New Orleans Saints
Saints placed Drew Brees (ribs) on injured reserve.

The team was sticking by the two-week layoff schedule for Brees but with this move, he'll miss at least three weeks. That would make Brees eligible to return for Week 14 against the Eagles. If Taysom Hill seizes the starting QB job with Brees out, he could be one of fantasy football's most important players in leagues where he's tight end eligible.

    Ezra Cleveland G, Minnesota Vikings
Vikings RG Ezra Cleveland (ankle) is out Week 11 against the Cowboys.

Cleveland has drawn starts since October at right guard after being drafted as an athletic offensive tackle prospect. His absence is further complicated by Dru Samia's placement on the COVID-19 list. Already a forgettable unit, the Vikings offensive line will be relying on backup play at home. Luckily Dallas' lackluster defense is on the schedule.
    Nov 20, 2020, 8:39 PM ET

Mitchell Schwartz T, Kansas City Chiefs
Chiefs RT Mitchell Schwartz (back) is out Week 11 against the Raiders.

Schwartz has been battling this flare up for a couple of weeks. It's a slight downgrade for Patrick Mahomes and Clyde Edwards-Helaire, although the offense should face little pressure against Vegas on Sunday Night Football.
    Nov 20, 2020, 9:44 PM ET

    Michael Thomas DB, Houston Texans
Texans placed S Michael Thomas (pec) on injured reserve.

Thomas will miss the rest of the season after undergoing season-ending pec surgery. The veteran is expected to make a full recovery ahead of the 2021 season. Thomas will need to prove his health before finding a landing spot in this offseason's free agency.

J.J. Taylor RB, New England Patriots
J.J. Taylor has been ruled out for Week 11 against the Texans.

Taylor wasn't listed on the Patriots' injury report. This looks like a coaches decision with Sony Michel returning from IR. Taylor hasn't been active since Week 3.

Sony Michel RB, New England Patriots
Patriots activated RB Sony Michel (quad) off injured reserve.

Michel has been practicing with the Patriots the last two weeks. Getting activated suggests he'll return Sunday after missing six games. With Damien Harris going over 100 yards two of the past three weeks, Michel is likely returning to the lesser half of a committee and may be on a snap count. The Patriots waived OL Hjalte Froholdt to make room for Michel.

Blessuan Austin DB, New York Jets
Jets placed CB Blessaun Austin (neck) to injured reserve.

Already struggling in the secondary, the Jets spent a lot of the week cutting corners and sending others to injured reserve. New York simply doesn't have the personnel to put up much of a fight through the air at the moment as they rotate dart throws while tanking for Trevor.

Sammy Watkins WR, Kansas City Chiefs
Sammy Watkins (calf, hamstring) was ruled out for Week 11 against the Raiders.

Watkins was downgraded after an in-practice injury during the week coming out of the bye. His status for Week 12 and beyond is unknown, but he's flashed WR3/4 appeal when fully healthy for those with deeper fantasy bench spots. The Chiefs activated Mecole Hardman, who has been operating as the No. 2 or No. 3 receiver without Watkins, from the COVID-19 list ahead of Sunday Night Football.

    Tyler Biadasz G, Dallas Cowboys
Cowboys placed C Tyler Biadasz (hamstring) on injured reserve.

Biadasz will miss at least three more games after "popping" his hamstring a few weeks back. The Cowboys, who have already lost multiple offensive linemen to season-ending injuries, will turn to Joe Looney at center. At least RG Zack Martin, arguably the Cowboys best player without Dak Prescott, is back in the lineup. The offense will ride or die based on Andy Dalton's ability to play under edge pressure.
    Nov 21, 2020, 2:43 PM ET

    Kenny Vaccaro DB, Tennessee Titans
Titans S Kenny Vacarro was ruled out for Week 11 against the Ravens.

Jadeveon Clowney (IR) and Adoree Jackson are also out. It's poor timing with AFC contender Baltimore on the schedule. The Titans also have injuries on offense with LT Taylor Lewan (IR), LG Rodger Saffold, and WR Adam Humphries out.
    Nov 21, 2020, 2:39 PM ET

    Jadeveon Clowney DL, Tennessee Titans
Titans placed DE Jadeveon Clowney (knee) to injured reserve.

Clowney's knee has been acting up in recent weeks, and his 2020 season is now in doubt after reports surfaced that the power rusher could need meniscus surgery. The $15 million offseason acquisition hasn't lived up to expectations, partially because of these nagging injuries. This was the primary reason why Clowney went unsigned until very late in the offseason. The Titans pass rush is one of the NFL's worst and could limit Tennessee's chances of making noise in January. Clowney is set for free agency once again in 2021. It's unlikely that he earns a major long-term deal.

    Joe Burrow QB, Cincinnati Bengals
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Joe Burrow tore his ACL and MCL in Cincinnati's Week 11 loss to Washington.

It's similar to Carson Wentz's injury in December a few years ago, which resulted in Wentz missing Philadelphia's first two regular season games the following year. With multiple ligaments to rehab over the offseason, Burrow will undergo reconstructive surgery and should be considered questionable for Week 1 of 2021. It's a brutal loss for a Bengals offense that was averaging the second-most pass attempts per game through Week 11.
