Gonna be the Phillip Lindsay show. He has been out but Broncos haven’t played in 18 days. He is ready to go now.

I'd love to see him steal his job back or get way more involved even after Gordon returns. I dont think Broncos needed to sign Gordon to begin with. But 2 years years 16 million I guess was hard to turn down

Sammy Watkins WR, Kansas City Chiefs
Sammy Watkins (hamstring) is out for Week 6 against the Bills.

Watkins is week to week but is expected to dodge the injured reserve, which would've guaranteed Watkins would miss at least three games. Watkins is unlikely to be ready for Week 7, however. The Chiefs will get Mecole Hardman onto the field more in his absence, and Tyreek Hill is due more targets as well. Watkins led the team in targets in 3-of-5 games before his injury. He's a bench hold in 12-team leagues if possible. Hardman now deserves WR3/flex consideration even if his floor remains low.

    J.R. Sweezy G, Arizona Cardinals
Cardinals placed RG J.R. Sweezy (elbow) to injured reserve.

Sweezy has been a below-average starter but a starter nonetheless. It's a slight downgrade for Kenyan Drake, who can't afford any more slight downgrades as a low-end RB2. Sweezy will miss at least three weeks. Rookie DT Rashard Lawrence will join Sweezy on injured reserve, too.

    Devin Bush LB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Steelers ILB Devin Bush tore his ACL in the Week 6 win over the Browns and will miss the remainder of the season.

Bush played 100% of the defensive snaps Weeks 1-5 before going down against Cleveland. The ultra-athletic rover was the No. 10 overall pick last year. Bush had one sack this year. He'll head to injured reserve and should be ready in time for Week 1 next season.

Raheem Mostert RB, San Francisco 49ers
Raheem Mostert left Week 6 against the Rams with an ankle injury.

Mostert was injured at the end of the first half. He tried to play through it on the 49ers' first drive of the third quarter but limped off after only one snap. Mostert racked up 17 carries for 65 yards before exiting. The quick rule out isn't a good sign for his Week 7 status.

Raheem Mostert RB, San Francisco 49ers
Coach Kyle Shanahan said Raheem Mostert has a high-ankle sprain and is likely headed to injured reserve.

With Tevin Coleman (knee) still on IR, the Niners are back to Jeff Wilson and JaMycal Hasty in their backfield. Hasty out-carried Wilson 9-4 last night and would be the preferred pickup, but both need to be added. Mostert will miss at least three weeks on IR.

    Christian McCaffrey RB, Carolina Panthers
NFL Network reports Christian McCaffrey (high-ankle sprain) will miss his fifth straight game in Week 7 but "has a shot" at returning for Week 8 vs. the Falcons.

That Week 8 game is a Thursday Night Football tilt, so it appears instead of trying to hurry CMC back for what would be two games in five days, the Panthers are trying to build him back to full strength for a divisional showdown. Although it sometimes feels like Mike Davis has barely missed a beat in McCaffrey's absence, he has been less efficient both as a runner and receiver. Getting CMC back will be a humongous boost for the surprisingly-competitive Panthers, as well as a game changer for the fantasy season stretch run. If you're rostering Davis, treat Sunday vs. the Saints as the last dance.

    Juston Burris DB, Carolina Panthers
Panthers placed S Juston Burris on injured reserve with a ribs issue.

A depth signing last spring, Burris has been an every-down player for the Panthers' surprisingly effective pass defense. He must now miss at least the next three weeks. The Panthers have been giving each of Burris, Tre Boston and Jeremy Chinn heavy snaps every week. UDFA Sam Franklin is the next man up.

Ben Garland G, San Francisco 49ers
49ers placed C Ben Garland on injured reserve with a calf injury.

The 49ers' starting pivot will spend at least the next three weeks on injured reserve. Journeyman Hroniss Grasu is the next man up. From the line to the backfield, the 49ers' rushing attack is dealing with a ton of injuries at the moment.

    Miles Sanders RB, Philadelphia Eagles
Miles Sanders (knee) has been ruled out for Week 7 against the Giants.

Sanders was never expected to play. He's facing a 1-2 week timetable to return from his knee injury. Boston Scott will start, with Corey Clement mixing in as the No. 2 back. With the Eagles playing on Thursday night, Sanders has a few extra days to get ready for Week 8. It's possible Philly holds out Sanders through their Week 9 bye.

    Alshon Jeffery WR, Philadelphia Eagles
Alshon Jeffery (foot) has been ruled out for Week 7 against the Giants.

Jeffery will miss his fifth straight game since returning to practice. This was expected given he still hasn't advanced past individual drills. The Eagles are getting back RT Lane Johnson (ankle) and DeSean Jackson (hamstring) this week. Jeffery could be targeting a return after Philly's Week 9 bye.
