As Crapman posted..... This really hurts them....

    Tyron Smith T, Dallas Cowboys
Cowboys LT Tyron Smith (neck) requires surgery and will miss the rest of the season.

It's a "correctable" issue for Smith. The Cowboys have now lost Smith and RT La'El Collins to season-ending injuries after stud C Travis Frederick retired in the offseason. Once deemed the league's best offensive line, Dallas now trots out one of the worst. 2019 UDFA Brandon Knight will step in on Dak Prescott's blind side. Smith's body is betraying him as he closes in on his 30th birthday in December. He'll have missed 26 games over the last five seasons when he begins the 2021 campaign.

    Austin Jackson T, Miami Dolphins
Dolphins placed LT Austin Jackson (foot) on injured reserve.

Jackson will miss at least three weeks. Already one of the worst offensive lines in the league, this is a huge loss for the Dolphins, who will now turn to Julie'n Davenport or Jesse Davis on Ryan Fitzpatrick's left side. Jackson was the No. 18 overall pick in this year's draft.

    James Daniels C, Chicago Bears
Bears LG James Daniels suffered a torn pectoral in Week 5 against the Buccaneers.

He'll miss the remainder of the season. Daniels, Chicago's 2018 second-round pick, has started every game for the Bears this year and the team's last 31 contests since being drafted. Alex Bars, who came in off the bench Thursday and played 31 offensive snaps, is expected to make his first career start in the interim in Week 6 against Carolina. It's obviously an impactful loss for Chicago, which has allowed the league's fourth-most pressures through Week 5.

    Kawann Short DL, Carolina Panthers
Panthers DT Kawann Short (shoulder) needs season-ending surgery.

Short's shoulder surgery is to the opposite shoulder he needed season-ending surgery on last year. The 31-year-old missed two games earlier in the year with a foot issue. Short had been playing heavy snaps inside for Carolina. Even at his advanced age, this is a big loss to an already-undermanned defense. Short has one year left on his contract at $12.5 million for 2021.

    Chandler Jones LB, Arizona Cardinals
Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury confirmed OLB Chandler Jones (biceps) is out for the season.

This was expected after Jones left Week 5 with a torn biceps. Jones has a 3-4 month timetable, putting him on track for a normal offseason. The Cardinals will replace Jones with a committee led by Dennis Gardeck. 30-year-old Jones will be entering the final year of his contract in 2021.

    Benardrick McKinney LB, Houston Texans
Texans placed ILB Benardrick McKinney (shoulder) on injured reserve.

McKinney needs season-ending surgery on the shoulder injury that kept him out last week. It's bad news for a struggling Texans defense that's allowing the second most rushing yards in the league. McKinney had 37 tackles and a TFL in four games before going down. The Texans will start Tyrell Adams in place of McKinney.

    Adam Humphries WR, Tennessee Titans
Titans activated WR Adam Humphries from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Humphries spent 12 days on the list after the Titans' outbreak and missed last night's win over Buffalo. With A.J. Brown back in the lineup off a knee issue, Humphries will go back to his low-volume slot role behind Brown, Jonnu Smith, and Corey Davis in the target pecking order.

    Dalvin Cook RB, Minnesota Vikings
Dalvin Cook (groin) is not practicing Wednesday.

This doesn't come as a surprise. It's already been reported that Cook is not expected to play this week against the Falcons, but Cook isn't ready to rule himself out, saying he's taking things day by day. Alexander Mattison would be a top-12 play if Cook misses Sunday.

Sammy Watkins WR, Kansas City Chiefs
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said Sammy Watkins (hamstring) is likely to avoid injured reserve.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday that Watkins should miss a couple weeks with what appeared to be a severe hamstring injury. Demarcus Robinson and Mecole Hardman rivaled one another in routes run (20 to 18) in the second half on Sunday against Vegas. Hardman played 61 percent of his snaps from the slot. He should be in lineups this week against Buffalo in 12-team fantasy leagues as a high-end WR3.

    John Brown WR, Buffalo Bills
Bills WR John Brown (knee) practiced fully Thursday.

He's listed on the injury report with a knee issue, different than the calf injury that has been reported last week. Brown was inactive Tuesday against the Titans, leading to a 100 percent snap share for WR Gabriel Davis, who caught five of nine targets for 58 yards. A full Thursday practice means Brown is on track to play Monday against Kansas City in what is likely to be a high-scoring affair. Brown is a WR3 option with upside in an excellent game environment this week.

    Noah Fant TE, Denver Broncos
Noah Fant (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 6 against the Patriots.

Fant practiced on a limited basis but it wasn't enough to get cleared. He should have a better chance at returning in Week 7. With Fant out, the Broncos will go with a committee of Nick Vannett, Jake Butt, and rookie Albert Okwuegbunam.

    Lane Johnson T, Philadelphia Eagles
Eagles RT Lane Johnson (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 6.

Johnson didn't practice after a setback in Sunday's loss. A second opinion confirmed he doesn't need surgery, but the Eagles are resting Johnson this week. Fourth-round rookie Jack Driscoll will start at right tackle against the Ravens.

    Melvin Gordon RB, Denver Broncos
Melvin Gordon (illness) didn't travel with the team to New England.

Gordon missed practice this week with a non-COVID illness. The Broncos are playing it safe by holding him out. Phillip Lindsay will step into a starting role with Gordon sidelined but has a shy-away matchup with a Patriots defense that's allowed just one rushing touchdown. Gordon should return in Week 7.

    Dawson Knox TE, Buffalo Bills
Bills TE Dawson Knox (calf) has been ruled out for Week 6.

Knox hasn't practiced since a Week 5 calf injury. He'll miss at least one game. Tyler Kroft will start and should see a few more snaps with Knox out.

    Desmond Trufant DB, Detroit Lions
Lions CB Desmond Trufant (hamstring) is out for Week 6 against the Jaguars.

Trufant was ultimately unable to recover from the same injury he suffered in Week 4. The Lions will continue responding with corners Amani Oruwaroye and Jeff Okudah opposite Laviska Shenault and potentially D.J. Chark (ankle, questionable).

The guy is legitimately sick. You crazy if you think Broncos afraid to publicly discipline him so they make up a story about him having strep throat so they can sit him
