Shoot, I was wrong...he didn’t even wait until tomorrow.
  • I hope he stays retired and gets help for his emotional issues.

"""Two days after announcing his retirement, free agent Antonio Brown indicated he would like to play in the NFL again."""

    Shocker

Same here...he could play flex some weeks for me, or I may find a trade once he signs somewhere

I have him in 2 leagues, keeping him until the end where possible

I'd be holding him if I owned him anywhere, just too much potential if he can actually get his sh*t together.

    Same here.
  • best move is to hold him, then trade him as soon as he gets signed somewhere (and before he makes a boneheaded mistaken again).

Boneheaded mistake? Antonio Brown? I think Boneheaded gives him entirely too much credit. He is a FM.

    So true, chuck.

Is it because we are getting along in years and arguably our time is limited... because I have no patience for players like Brown.

I don't care how talented he is. He is a pariah and bad for any team.

While I am being a crabby old man... I hate these asinine end zone celebrations. I am from an age where the only thing a player might do is spike the ball and even that was not for every score. When the Rams were in St. Louis going to Super Bowls with Warner, Faulk, Holt and Bruce, I HATED THAT F-ING BOB AND WEAVE ... hated it.

I always liked Jerry Rice scoring and handing the ball to the ref. No celebration 'cuz TDs are " what I do ".

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Barry Sanders take the same approach? You have to respect that mentality (to your point) of "I don't need to show off, I'm SUPPOSED to be here".

I think that Paul Brown and Joe Paterno have also been credited with this statement and MAYBE Barry Sanders

Wasn't Jerry ...Jerry was a spiker....Barry was the guy.....literally handed the ball to ref....would make effort to find ref to give ball to him

Lamar Jackson on Antonio Brown: “There’s no quit with him. That’s the type of guy we need in our locker room. I feel like our locker room is different than other locker rooms. There’s a brotherhood going on. None of that outside noise. Strictly inside.”

He'll be either a Raven or a Seahawk this year. I'm leaning towards playing with his cous.

If he goes to the Ravens I guess i wouldn’t have to keep Hollywood then. One thing to factor is the Ravens don’t pass enough to get AB the kind of stats he’s used to. So in that regard I prefer him elsewhere. I hear Seattle’s nice this time of yr.

Antonio Brown (free agent) is being suspended for 8 games for violation of the NFL personal conduct policy, beginning whenever he signs, per league source.
