In a 12-man, 1 ppr league where we must start a MINIMUM of three rbs, how hard would you push to get the 1.04 with these rbs on my roster?
I'd take Dobbins over Swift.
Guys in bold have been past starters.
(Full lineup in signature.)

Cohen, Tarik CHI RB 11 67 84 164.10
Conner, James PIT RB (Q) 8 56 88 147.50
Edmonds, Chase ARI RB 8 289 74 82.90
Howard, Jordan MIA RB 11 76 83 111.40
Jackson, Justin LAC RB 10 104 65 31.20

Snell, Benny PIT RB 8 328 58 59.90
Williams, Damien KCC RB 10 55 82 143.20

I was going to offer 1.08 + 2021 1st for the 1.04.

If Dobbins and swift are both on the board at 1.4, trade to 1.5 instead

I'm not big on Swift in DET. Also, it'd probably be the same price. I'm just trying to figure out with my messy RB crew how hard should I push to get the 1.04? Thanks.

You can see how hard it is to get three serviceable RBs. That's why my crappy team came in 4th last year, 2nd the year before. Solid WR, QB, and TE around okay RBs.

Agreed. It would take much more than you are offering.

As to your question, I would push very hard to get the 1.04 with your lineup.

He needs WR also. Maybe Howard, 1.08 and 2021 1st? Overpay for sure but might get it done

  • If you don't like Swift, then stick with the 1.04. I would offer him Jordan Howard, Damien Williams and the 2021 1st for the 1.04 and maybe a 2nd rounder (2020 or 2021).

  • However, you can start discussing with the 1.05 owner saying that if your guy falls, etc... If you don't approach him now, he may just pick immediately and not give a chance to trade for it.

Both 1.04 and 1.05 are sitting with just 1 starting RB...I agree with The Dude here and seeing as you will need to overpay either way, you might as well try for 1.04. I like The Dude's offer suggestion.

In a league where you start a minimum of three RBs and don’t have three RB starters, Vaughn would have been better.

In his league with a start 3 RB minimum, you really think he can flip Jeudy for a couple RBs? LOL

Felt too early for Vaughn to me. And I'd rather have elite WRs and serviceable RBs. Just felt weird to take Vaughn there over Jeudy. But thanks.

Most teams don't have three RBs in the top 30. I think with PIT RBs I'll have one, Howard in MIA, two, Damien is still the starter (for now), and Cohen as as RB3 is fine.

But I hear you. Maybe that was the play there.

i agree with this. Vaughn at 1.08 doesn't seem a stretch looking at many rookie drafts.

Are you in the same league? If so, with your RB requirements, getting Vaughn at 1.11 is a steal.

Vaughn anywhere in the 1st Rd is not a steal.

I’d take Jeudy all day everyday & twice on Sundays.

Me too, but not in a league requiring a minimum of three RBs in the starting lineup weekly.

Yes, but like I said, everyone has issues at RB. Joe has RoJo so of course it makes sense he took him there. I did keep trying to trade back in to get Vaughn, but had no luck. I guess I'd rather roll with Tyreek, Allen, Golladay, and Jeudy as my WR4. Alshon/AMiller can compete for WR5. We start 4-5 WRs, too. So it's a tough league. I went BPA based on my rankings there. Maybe I'll get lucky on some RBs later in the draft.
