Have been offered this intriguing trade....

Ok, so really, the chance of me winning this year is slim with my current roster construction in my auction league. Way to heavy on RB’s and way too light on wr’s. PPR league.

I give up Elliot, Pollard, Waller and Corey Davis

I get Adams, Hilton, Cook and Melvin Gordon.

My current roster is:

A-Rod
Kyler

Elliot
Kerryon
Duke
Singletary
Henderson
Pollard
Darwin

Corey Davis
Curtis Samuel
Deebo Samuel
Mecole Hardman

I know, I know rough receiving core.

My thought on moving Elliot is that I would pick up two WR’s who could be ppr studs. Plus, I pick up Gordon at a very cheap cost to keep for next year.

Thoughts?

I'm confused. How many do you keep? I mean, there is not a RB in the league I wouldn't add to Pollard, Waller, Davis to get Adams, Hilton, Cook and Gordon (redraft or dynasty). Maybe I'm just missing something.
  • Its hard to imagine to many scenarios where giving up Elliot is a good move but this is a situation where it is. Milk him for what you can but if thats best offer Id accept

We keep 5 at the end of the year.

Next year I would be keeping ARod, Gordon, Adam’s, Singletary and then someone else.

Hilton I couldn’t keep next year because his contract is over this year.

See if you can do better... if not, I think I’d accept too!

No. It is Jared Cook to replace Waller.

    Elliott >Gordon
    Adams >> Davis
    Hilton & Cook >> Pollard & Waller

You lose at RB but win at WR. TE's could be a lateral move but Waller is much nicer for dynasty.

Agree. You cannot give up Zeke without at least getting Dalvin in return.
QB:Patrick Mahomes, Kyler Murray, Chase Daniel; RB:Zeke Elliott, Dalvin Cook, David Montgomery, Darwin Thompson, Frank Gore, Benny Snell, Jr., Spencer Ware and Doug Martin; WR Antonio Brown, Odell Beckham Jr., Donte Moncrief, Josh Doctson, Christian Kirk and Robert Foster;TE: George Kittle, Evan Engram and Jordan Reed; K Will Lutz and Josh Lambo; Defense: Rams and Browns. Start: QB, (2) RB, (2) WR, TE, K and D.

I just assumed was Dalvin Cook as well. I think id pass also and here is why. The whole point of this trade was to improve towards next season. You cant keep TY Hilton next year so you not picking up two PPR studs like you said. You're getting just one. Also who knows what Melvin Gordon situation will be. This could end up being an Elliot for Adams deal when the smoke clears and thats not worth it.

Sounded too good to be true. With Dalvin Cook, easy accept...but with Jared Cook, easy PASS for me.

He bailed on the trade. He wants Waller now and will send me Hilton.

No deal considering you are building your team towards next year and beyond and you cant keep TY. Hilton beyond this year.

Trade someone else don't let the offer or control the situation. He offered to you, counter with something that would help your roster.

But you can't keep Hilton beyond this year, right?
