smitty fantasy football advice

With Arian Foster (Achilles) out for the year, the Texans will likely turn to one of Alfred Blue or Chris Polk. They could bring in another runner, but both know the offense and have shown signs that they can produce. Now, early predictions across most news wires are pointing to Polk having the edge, but I think Blue has more talent. Talent doesn’t always see the field, for many reasons, so both need to be owned in all formats. Blue catches less passes, so Polk is the better bet in PPR, and Blue the better TD option, but this could go either way and be determined by who gets going first.

Orleans Darkwa could get more and more carries as the Giants runner if he keeps producing per touch. His eight rushes for 48 yards and 1TD was impressive in Week 7. He just looks explosive.

Danny Amendola has nice appeal in NE, for as long as he can stay healthy, and keep in mind that Titans runner David Cobb could be back in Week 9, if you need a deep running back grab.

Players Not Likely Available

Make sure all three of Jordan Reed, Charcandrick West and Stefon Diggs are not available in your league. All three should have been grabbed last week, and Diggs has been on the pickup list for multiple weeks now (and WTCM talked this kid up all off-season, nice work, WTCM!).

Michael Floyd is another add if he’s sitting on your waiver wire. He’s starting to come around now that his hand has finally healed.

Good one, Doggie. He looks good right now, something we haven’t been able to say for well over a year.
