Below are the top Waiver Wire Pickups for Week 6 of the 2016 fantasy football season. It goes without saying that last week’s top pickup, Jordan Howard, should be owned already. He would be above all of the below. Jacquizz Rodgers was already mentioned on the site here as a must-add, so be sure he isn’t available this week (edit: especially after his big 100-yard Monday night game).
Chris Hogan (WR/NE)
He pulled in 114 yards in Week 5 with Tom Brady back. Hogan is clearly going to benefit from the return of Brady, and he immediately has high-end fantasy WR3-type value, which means he is now a regular fantasy football starter. Grab him if he’s available in your league.
Sammie Coates (WR/PIT)
He makes drops, he isn’t playing perfect football, but Big Ben keeps feeding him the rock, so that makes him a decent WR3/4 in larger leagues. He pulled in 139 yards and 1TD in Week 5. He should be owned as a bye week WR in all formats (and he even has WR3 value in large leagues).
Jeremy Kerley (WR/SF)
His last two games: 6/88/1TD and 8/102/1TD. He is looking like a solid WR3 in larger leagues moving forward.
Cameron Meredith (WR/CHI)
He pulled in 130 yards and 1TD in Week 5, and he could have a decent role moving forward. He isn’t a high-end WR3 just yet, but he has WR4 value for bye weeks. For now.
