Week 4 Adds

smitty fantasy football advice

Ok, so we’re assuming Devonta Freeman is not on waivers, as he was a starting running back last week, not a riser due to in-game injury. However, check waivers just in case, and grab Freeman if available!

Karlos Williams (RB/BUF)

Redraft & Dynasty

This kid had 100 yards last week, as LeSean McCoy still battled through his hamstring injury. Well, now McCoy is looking likely to sit Week 4, which means we’re about to see the Karlos Williams show. The runner is no fluke, he will produce when starting, and while he won’t unseat LeSean McCoy when healthy, Williams has already carved out a role in that Bills’ offense regardless. Grab him in all leagues and look for fantasy RB2-type numbers against the Giants (in Buffalo) this upcoming week. Oh, and from a dynasty perspective, there is a lot to like about Williams, however, McCoy isn’t near that age of decline just yet, so let’s get excited, but not too excited. For now. And, for now, I think 100 yards and a TD is in store for K-Will in Week 4!

Thomas Rawls (RB/SEA)

Redraft & Dynasty

Thomas Rawls totaled 104 yards on 16 carries in Week 3 win against the Bears. Marshawn Lynch (hamstring) is getting an MRI, so we should know more soon enough regarding Rawls’ Week 4 usage. If starting, he is a fine flex-play and a decent fantasy RB2. He should be owned in all leagues, including dynasty, as you never know when that hidden gem of a rusher will emerge. So far, we like this rusher.

Any others to add? Ryan Mathews, although, he isn’t likely available in most leagues, but he is worth mentioning just in case. Others?

I’m gonna take a shot on adding Vick this week in a league where my only QB is Cam. I think Vick gives me the best option at QB during Cam’s bye in week 5.

Why not? I like Vick if your team is in need, or you have Brady on a bye, etc. Good dice roll, Doggie!

Williams shouldn’t be on the waiver wire in most leagues and if he is, get him! Rawls is another nice for those Lynch owners and anyone who’s weak at future RB’s.

Yeah, depends on the league. You’d be surprised, you, and many here, play in veteran leagues. Some leagues are not as in the know, or solid at predicting future risers. Or, leagues sometimes have super small rosters, or can only hold 4RBs total on a roster. But, yeah, any league you play in, he is already on your roster ūüôā
