smitty fantasy football advice

Below you will find our Week 15 Waiver Wire Add Recommendations heading into Week 15 of the 2016 fantasy football season. If you are in need of a plug-and-play type player heading into your playoff match-up, we might have a solution below.

UPDATE: We’ve been saying it for weeks, but be sure Adrian Peterson isn’t on waiver wires. He is practicing this week, and work is he could play this week (Week 15), which is way, way ahead of schedule, something we’ve learned to accept from superman. Whether or not you should start him this very week is another matter, so get on our forums to discuss that vs your options!

Bilal Powell (RB/NYJ)

Forte has been banged up a bit this year, and he suffered a knee injury in Week 14, to the point where he hears cracking and popping in the knee. That isn’t good. It’s tough to speak on Forte’s status as of this exact moment, but grab Powell and feel rather confident that his role will increase even if Forte somehow manages to play Week 15. If Forte misses Week 15, something we should find out after today’s MRI results get revealed, Powell could be a very, very good flex moving forward, or even poor man’s RB2.

Dontrelle Inman (WR/SD)

With three-straight games with a touchdown, it’s time to consider Inman an every-week fantasy WR3. His past three games: 6/119/1TD, 2/49/1TD and 6/71/1TD.

Kenneth Farrow (RB/SD)

This kid needs to be picked ASAP, as Melvin Gordon was carted off the field in Week 14 with a hip injury. Some recent reports suggest that Gordon may have escaped a season-ending injury, but MRI results will tell the true story soon. So, for now, assume Gordon is out for Week 15 and grab Farrow. Keep in mind, thought, that Ronnie Hillman also deserves consideration, as he will likely split some carries with Farrow, and a hot hand approach isn’t out of the question. Also, Hillman is better in pass protection, so game flow could dictate who is on the field. Know that. Stay on top of Gordon’s MRI results on our Breaking News Wire page.

Justin Forsett (RB/DEN)

Forsett out-touched Booker last week. It’s tough to count on either rusher in DEN right now, but Forsett is a decent grab if you need a RB badly. Juwan Thompson could also see more work moving forward. It’s not a great situation to mix into your playoff lineups this week, know that.

More Week 15 Adds

Charles Sims (RB/TB)
Pierre Garcon (WR/WAS)
Robby Anderson (WR/NYJ)
Tyler Boyd (WR/CIN)
Marqise Lee (WR/JAC)
