As we head into Week 14, the list of likely available players in most leagues is getting slim. First off, make sure guys like Josh Gordon are not still sitting on waivers in your league… I just wanted to get that out there.
Update 12/8/17 :: Gio Bernard is looking like a great start in Week 14 with Joe Mixon looking out. He isn’t available in every league, but grab him if available in your league.
Kenyan Drake exploded in Week 13, rushing the ball 23 times for 120 yards (5.2YPC) and 1TD… This is the top pickup of the week right here, merely because he could flirt with super-solid Rb2 numbers the rest of the way if leaned on. Will Miami lean on him, though? That’s tough to say, but grab him and find out while you use him as a RB3/flex play (with hopes for more). Damien Williams (shoulder) is banged up, so news on his return may or may not affect Drake’s future workload.
Surprisingly, Rex Burkhead is still available in a number of leagues. This past week, he rushed for 78 yards and 2TDs (with 3rec/25 receiving), and the week prior, he ran for 50/1TD. He is now officially on the RB2 map.
Dion Lewis, even with Burkhead playing so well, still has flex status… easily. He has posted 15 carries for 112 yards and 15 carries for 92 yards in back-to-back weeks now… he must be owned, and it’s shocking how available he is in so many leagues.
Kerwynn Williams racked-up 97 yards on 16 carries in Week 13, but he didn’t get any receiving work. And, he hasn’t as of late, but it’s possible the Cardinals use him more and more. He should be grabbed.
Tion Green played well in place of Ameer Abdullah, who was inactive for Week 13 with a neck injury. Green rushed 11 times for 51 yards and 1TD. Abdullah may not be out long, stay on our news wire for that, but until he is back, both Green and Theo Riddick command some add consideration.
Ricky Seals-Jones is looking like a low-end TE1 at times, folks. In AZ, they lean on him. He should absolutely not be left on waivers in dynasty.
