Stay glued to this newswire all day, specifically this post, as it will contain all updates for the Sunday Week 16 games.

Good luck this week, all. -Smitty

Keep refreshing this page all day long…

NEWS: (12/27/20 @11:59am) Antonio Gibson is expected to play Week 16 against the Panthers; Terry McLaurin is not expected to play.
FANTASY TAKE: Tough break for McLaurin owners, but expect a lot of Gibson in this one, assuming he suffers not setbacks in warm-ups. Fire up Gibson.

NEWS: (12/27/20 @11:59am) Mark Ingram is inactive for Week 16.
FANTASY TAKE: This is great news for JK Dobbins owners, although Gus Edwards is still in the mix. Still, JK has RB2 appeal in this one, and Lamar Jackson appears back to his old top 2-5QB ways. Have a Jackson-involved QB dilemma, like Jalen Hurts or Jackson? Drop it below!

NEWS: (12/27/20 @11:59am) Tyler Boyd is in active this week against the Texans.
FANTASY TAKE: The Texans could be a nice DST play this week. Expect a lot of Deshaun Watson in this one.

NEWS: (12/27/20 @11:59am) Allen Robinson is active for Week 16 against the Jaguars.
FANTASY TAKE: Fire him up. ARob and David Montgomery should be in for big days in Week 16.

NEWS: (12/27/20 @11:56am) Tyreek Hill is active for Week 16.
FANTASY TAKE: Get him in line-ups and expect a big day. Mecole Hardman was looking like a potential sneaky play if Hill was coming into this one limited, but Hill looks good to go. Expect a huge day out of Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. Even Leveon Bell is a nice play in this one, and of course Travis Kelce is likely to do his usual 80-100/1TD. Good luck in Week 16.

NEWS: (12/27/20 @11:55am) Julio Jones is inactive for Week 16.
FANTASY TAKE: It will be the Calvin Ridley show in this one. Ridley has top 1-5WR appeal in 2021 and beyond. Jones may or may not have one more elite year left. I know many will want to defend his talent and suggest that it’s a lock that he is the same guy for another season, but the drop-off happens fast around 32 years of age.

NEWS: (12/27/20 @4:20am) Keenan Allen (hamstring) is not expected to play Week 16 against Denver.
FANTASY TAKE: Tyron Johnson and Jalen Guyton will have some sneaky-good WR3/4 appeal in larger leagues. Stay on this newswire in case there is a miracle with Allen in warm-ups, but he sounds almost certainly out. As for which WR to bank on more out of Johnson and Guyton, roll some dice. Guyton appears to be the yardage guy while Johnson is the TD specialist.
Let’s talk 2021 and Dynasty: Keenan Allen and Justin Herbert have monster upside for 2021 and beyond. Allen overlooked low-end WR1 appeal for 2021 and beyond (especially with this disappointing finish), while Herbert is ranking in early as my #3 overall fantasy football quarterback.

NEWS: (12/27/20 @4:13am) James Robinson (ankle) is out Week 16.
FANTASY TAKE: Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo will be splitting duties in this one, neither of which is going to be reliable during your Week 16 fantasy championship.
Let’s talk 2021 and Dynasty: James Robinson will be one of the most interesting fantasy football runners to monitor once early January-February ADP data starts to generate. He is a solid 14-16 overall pick in all formats in 2021 fantasy football, but I venture to say he has some risk as a first-drafted player. Debate this below!

As a Keenan Allen owner I would favor Tyron Johnson over Jaylen Guyton. Over the last two games, Johnson has 9 catches on 12 targets for 116 yards and 2 TDs vs Guytons 5 catches on 9 targets for 99 yards and 0 TDs. If Mike Williams plays that would set up Johnson to play in the slot (where Keenan Allen lines up). Herbert has been comfortable throwing to the slot receiver all season long. Last week against Denver, Cole Beasley caught 8 of 10 targets for 114 yards as the slot receiver. Guyton has boom or bust potential and could very well have a big game. However I feel like Johnson has the safer floor
