Smitty’s Take: The Broncos finally signed their third-round rookie runner. Royce Freeman has very little competition in Devontae Booker and De’Angelo Henderson. For those that don’t know, Freeman was one of my favorite rookie rushers coming out of this 2018 NFL Draft class (even before the NFL Draft took place). As you can imagine, this landing spot vaulted him up even high in my eyes. Freeman, also known as the Rolls-Royce, is a smooth runner with undervalued receiving skills, something that I think he will prove early on in 2018. While his ADP is climbing fast, as the hype begins to spread around newswires, we’ve been on top of this kid’s rise from the start. Congrats to those that stole him in rookie-only drafts back in May and June. Let’s hope his ADP stays reasonable heading into the later part of July and early August.
