NEWS: According to Adam Caplan on Twitter, Antonio Gibson (toe) practiced on a limited basis on Wednesday.

FANTASY TAKE: This is great news for Gibson fantasy owners, who could use his services in the final Championship week. That said, it’s tough to say if he will get his usual workload. If he plays, though, you have to start him, his upside is too great.

Let’s talk 2021 and Dynasty: Before getting banged up and missing Week’s 14 and 15 (and most all of Week 13), fantasy football worlds were practically anointing Gibson top 15 overall worthy for 2021 fantasy football. I’m not suggesting that this thinking is wrong… Week 7, right before the bye week, was Gibson’s coming out party, where he ran 20 times for 128 and 1TD. Since that Week 7 contest, Gibson scored in every single game ranging from Week 7 on up to Week 12; he had 8TDs in that five-game span. So, clearly there is a case to be made that Gibson is RB1-capable for 2021. I do think his finish here in 2020 will absolutely shape my thinking heading into next year. For now, I think he is a safe late 2nd-round pick for all 2021 fantasy football formats. He’s an even better high third-round pick, but that may not be a realistic valuation should he finish well. The question is, will Gibson soon cement into a 11-15 ADP in the coming weeks? Debate this below! Also, JD McKissic has interesting ‘now’ and ‘future’ value. The likelihood of him vanishing a bit next year is greater than the likelihood of him holding the same ultra-productive kind of value, but time will tell. Debate both of these topics below!
