Smitty’s Take: A few reports out today speak to this, that the Cowboys could use RB Ezekiel Elliott more in the passing game this season. While he has been a respectable receiving rusher over his first two NFL campaigns, Zeke could surely use an uptick from his 32/363/1TD in 2016 and 26/269/2TDs last year. He is a good receiver, it’s all about targets. With Dez Bryant gone, I think Dak Prescott and that Dallas passing attack will be able to get him above 45-50 receptions in 2018. Zeke has the upside for well over 2,000 total yards and 14-15TDs. He has some off-the-field risk, that feeling won’t likely go away anytime soon; however, I have the 1.01 in a couple leagues this year, and I am set on using one of those picks on Zeke. That’s how much I like him this year.
