Smitty’s Take: With a current ADP that has him drafted as this year’s TE7-8, there is a ton to like about Delanie Walker this season. He comes with boatloads of risk, and is always banged up. Still, when on the field, he is a top 2-5TE upside-wise, and if the Titans signed him to a two-year extension (at $17 million), that gives me enough confidence to assume that Walker is at least starting the season on a healthy note. Draft a good back-up if you roll with Walker this year, but know that you can get elite TE1 upside at the cost of a low-end TE1. He feels like a safe bet for 70 receptions for 800 or so yards and 5-7TDs in 2018. On a final note, a healthy Walker should help Marcus Mariota bounce-back a bit in 2018, and it should free up Corey Davis, who is a monster breakout candidate in 2018.
