NEWS: Clyde Edwards-Helaire out Week 16-17?
NEWS: According to Ian Rapoport via Twitter, RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire suffered both hip and an ankle injury in Week 15; X-Rays were negative. MRI results are next and he does have a shot at playing in the NFL playoffs.
#Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire suffered a hip and an ankle injury yesterday, but X-Rays were negative, per coach Andy Reid. They’ll know more after the MRI. The early expectation is CEH is done for the regular season with a chance to return for the playoffs, source said.

FANTASY TAKE: This pretty much sums up the entire 2020 fantasy football season. CEH was definitely a letdown to all who drafted him, falling short most all of the year, then leaving fantasy owners handing in Week 16 (and for most of Week 15). Look… this can be looked at one of two ways. You can write-off his talent and avoid the rusher in 2021, or you can realize the value/vs risk that he will likely hold in 2021 and beyond. If he falls well outside of the top 30 overall heading into 2021 fantasy football drafts (and some suggest he can fall well past 40 overall), the risk will be all baked into CEH’s value. He still plays in the most potent offense in the entire league, and he should walk into 2021 as the clear-cut starter. Some may argue that, and some will reference the return of Damien Williams… this will certainly be a fun debate, and we can kick it off below in the comments. Where do you draft Clyde, if at all, in 2021 and in dynasty?
