Gronk and Green for.......

A guy just traded

AJ Green and Gronk for
Wentz (can be kept with 6th rd pick)
Buck Allen
Desean Jackson
Dede Westbrook

I feel like puking and quitting the league...
Am I overreacting?

That is pretty bad on the surface. Were Green and Gronk keepable and at what cost? Is the owner competitive or is he planning for 2019 ?

  • Gronk and Green not keeper..
    The other party is.
Redraft keep 3 drafted 6th and beyond for up to 3 years.

    PPR
    6pt TDs
    1 QB
    1 flex
    Espn scoring

Humor because I need to relax...lol
  • I don't know about you guys, but Buck Allen, Desean, Dede are not weekly starters, imo.
    Aj and Gronk are.
  • Definitely NO collusion either. I know these guys.
  • I don’t see collusion, but definitely a horrible trade. He must have been super desperate for a QB!

I don’t see collusion, but definitely a horrible trade. He must have been super desperate for a QB!

Or his team may be completely out of the running for 2018 and since he can't keep AJG or Gronk, he is planning his 2019 campaign early.

Close to the deadline, I am considering selling Zeke plus some later 2019 picks to a contending team for a 1st and maybe a 2nd round 2019 pick. This is in a 10 team No-PPR limited keeper league where I am currently 2-4 with no real hope to contend
    QB - Cousins, Watson
RB - Zeke, Kerryon, Cohen, Clement, Carson, Guice (IR) and just picked up RoJo for D.Freeman
WR - Thomas, Boyd, Gordon, D.Jax
    TE - Howard

This league has a 3 game round robin tournament during the playoffs. The bottom 4 teams compete for the 1.01. So if I could win the round robin plus have an extra 1st round pick I could set up very nicely for 2019.

This league allows teams to keep 2 or 3 players
-- The cost of keeping a player is based upon the round in which they were drafted or in the case of a continuously kept player the ADP
-- Only 1 player can be kept with a keeper cost between rounds 1-5. Then that team can keep 1 more with a cost between rounds 6-15
-- Or a team can keep 3 players all with a cost between rounds 6-15

If I can sell Zeke (who will cost a 1st round pick) for an extra 1st and 2nd, THEN I could keep 3 players out of Guice (12), Cousins (11), Kerryon (6), RoJo (10), Cohen (15), Clement (15), Carson (9), Josh Gordon (7) and still have all of those early picks

The team that owns Gurley also owns Saquon and can only keep 1
The team that owns Dj also owns Kareem Hunt and Kamara and can only keep 1
The team that owns Melvin Gordon also owns Aaron Rodgers and can only keep 1. He is a Rodgers homer and kept him for the last 3 years
The team that owns Dalvin Cook also owns Royce Freeman and can only keep 1
The team that owns Fournette also owns McCaffrey and can only keep 1

So a bunch of elite RBs will be on the draft board next year and I will probably gear up for 2019 pretty soon unless I have a drastic turnaround
