Matt Nagy hired as new head coach for the Bear's

The Bears have found their next head coach.

The Bears announced that they have hired former Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy. Nagy interviewed with the Bears on Sunday, a day after the Chiefs were knocked out of the playoffs in a 22-21 loss to the Titans.

More ground and pound for the Bears? How does this affect my Trubisky share?

Anyone other than John Fox is an upgrade.
  • He is an offensive minded former QB coach - I think this increases Trub's value.  As a Bears fan, I like this move!

Fox is one guy that should stay away from coaching,

Doesn't Reid usually run the offense? I'd like to know the thought process of not running more with Hunt...
    QB: Prescott, Bortles
RB: Mixon, Hunt, Coleman, Ware, Breida
WR: Julio, M Thomas, DT, Crabtree, Agholor, Golladay, Moncrief, Chad Williams
    TE: Gronk, Rudy, ASJ, Kittle
    DST: LA Rams

He gave up the duties during the 4 game slide.

Nagy doesn’t seem exciting to me, but does seem like an upgrade on Fox. That’s a pretty low bar though.

I like it.  They said the same thing about Pederson in Philly, and it has worked out pretty well so far.

It's a big change for the Bears because this is the first time they hired a offensive minded coach in awhile then a defensive minded coach which means big things for their QB Trubisky IMO.
