(1/12/17) Jordan Howard had an awesome rookie season in 2016… on essentially 13 starter-type outings, Howard produced 252 carries for 1,313 rushing yards (5.2) and 6TDs, to go along with 29 receptions for 298 yards and 1TD. That’s a darn good season for a guy that essentially didn’t…

Jamaal Charles is headed to see Dr. James Andrews, which is never a good sign, and Spencer Ware suffered a Week 8 concussion. While Ware could play Week 9, there is a strong chance West gets the nod, and we love West. We almost like his skill set as much as Ware’s skill set, which means he is likely good for 100 total yards and 1TD each game that he starts. He is the top add this week!
With LeSean McCoy’s Week 9 status up in the air, for now, Gillislee is a must add, if for any reason he is still available. He shouldn’t be available, as he was a huge sleeper of ours back in August and a must-add last week and the week before. In Week 8, he rushed for 85 yards and a TD on 12 carries. He faces Seattle next week and McCoy could return for that game. He is a must-own, but he also could see his value shrink in an instant.
This guy has been awesome so far this year, and he was a breakout candidate of ours, so congrats to all who grabbed him early on. However, he still appears available in a decent number of leagues, so we had to list him yet again this week even though he is already gone/played in most leagues. Crowder pulled in 9/107/1TD in Week 8 and he had 7/108/0TDs in Week 7. He has a bye in Week 9.
After fumbling one too many times and after being rather inconsistent, the team is likely turning to Tim Hightower.
His Week 8 line (8/79/2TDs ) was impressive enough to add him ASAP as a deeper WR play for Weeks 9-16.
This was one of my bigger ’secret weapon stashes’ of all 2016, so he better not be available in any leagues with SleeperU owners. However, because I see him available in even a small number of leagues, I have to scream for everyone to check their waiver wire for Henry ASAP! DeMarco Murray should play Week 9, but he did have a scare with the toe (MRI was negative), but the scare was a reminder of how close we are to maybe seeing Henry become an instant rags to riches RB1.
He has a Week 9 bye, but the guy had 87 yards and 1TD in Week 8. He looks like the lead back in WAS for now. That could change, but you’d think after his 87/1TD line in Week 8, he will likely start in Week 10 coming out of the team’s Week 9 bye.
He ran for 86 yards and pulled in 5 passes for 17 yards in Week 8 against Dallas. He is actually available in a lot of leagues, and with more byes on the way and lots of injuries stacking up, he should be owned in all leagues.
He pulled in 69 yards and 1TD in Week 8, and he is used often in that offense. He is a fine WR4-type player with WR3-type upside, no question!
The guy pulled in 5 passes for 98 yards and 1TD in Week 8, and he has 3TDs in the last four games. He is a strong dynasty grab and solid WR4/5 play in redraft.
He’s on a bye this week, but the guy is consistent and needs to be added.
He only had 23 yards in Week 8, but he had a TD. He had 5 receptions for for 77 yards and 1TD the week prior. He is a solid dynasty grab for sure, and he has decent redraft appeal in that WR4/5 range.
Doug Martin may or may not return soon, that is very much up in the air, but Jacquizz Rodgers is banged up (foot), and as of this second, his Week 9 status is unknown. Peyton Barber or Smith could start if neither Martin or Rodgers can go this week, so that makes Barber and Smith must-adds entering Week 9.

(10/12/16) In fantasy football, the key to winning down the stretch is staying ahead of the curve. Of course, avoiding injury is huge, something that requires a mix of both skill and luck. However, predicting injury, or shall I say ‘anticipating’ injury, can also be a big skill in fantasy football. I love DeMarco Murray, and I went as far as to make DeMarco Murray/Derrick Henry one of my Top 10 Bold Predictions for 2016, but…
